Logan Cox wins para-nordic sprint, archer Mason Pollard eighth after qualifier, Lily McCullough fighting for bronze in judo
Logan Cox is enjoying the view from the top of the medal podium at the Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island.
Cox got to the finish in two minutes 45 seconds, 23 seconds ahead of silver medalist Felix Lafond of Rouyn-Noranda, Que. Charles Lecours of Quebec won bronze.His final event of the Games, the five km freestyle is scheduled for Friday. Pollard, a member of the Silvertip Archers club in Prince George, totaled 560 points in his opening round Wednesday. The second round of qualifying is ongoing today with the preliminary round, quarterfinals, semifinals and medal rounds scheduled for Friday in Charlottetown
