ORANGE BEACH — Six from Ozark are among the 129 municipal officials who graduated from the inaugural Alabama League of Municipalities Economic Academy at the Alabama League of Municipalities’ Municipal
Ozark Mayor Mark Blankenship, Ozark City Council members Stanley Enfinger, Leah Harlow, Winston Jackson and Les Perault and Ozark-Dale County Economic Development Executive Director Holle Smith, received certificates of municipal economic development from the league and the Alabama Community College System.

Wade facilitated the Academy across the state.
Academy participants engaged with community college presidents across the state to learn more about how to collaborate on workforce and economic development in the future. Bryan Parker, Director of Governmental Affairs for the League, stated that the EDA was a vision of League Executive Director Greg Cochran to enhance the focus on economic development for the 464 municipalities the League represents.
