ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Six unpublished writers in Newfoundland and Labrador have been chosen as finalists for the Fresh Fish Award this year.
Announced by WritersNL, this bi-annual literary award aims to encourage emerging writers in the province, providing the winner with a $5,200 cash prize and $1,000 for professional editing of the winning manuscript.The shortlist for the readings and winner will be announced on Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. at Mount Pearl's Admiralty House Communications Museum Annex.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
