The YWCA of Metro Vancouver has announced 78 nominees for the 2023 and 40th annual Women of Distinction Awards, with six being from Burnaby.

The YWCA Women of Distinction Awards honour individuals and organizations whose outstanding activities and achievements contribute to the well-being and future of the community. Community Champion Education, training and development Health and Wellness Outstanding Workplace Award recipients will be honoured at the Women of Distinction Awards Gala at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver on May 9.
