He disclosed that the Command, in synergy with security agencies, has deployed water-tight security across the state to forestall any breakdown of law and order, and to encourage residents to go about their lawful businesses without any fear of harm or molestation within the period and beyond. He further warned hoodlums who intend to exploit the protest for their criminal gains or agenda to stay off Imo State, adding that harming innocent citizens, destruction or looting of public and private property and businesses would never be condoned. He warned that anyone caught in such an act would be severely dealt with according to the law.
