They also talk about the upcoming season being the 40th anniversary of the Whitecaps 1979 Soccer Bowl NASL Championship, and even ask Carl if he had to pick one and give up one between winning the Soccer Bowl and playing in Canada’s only appearance in the World Cup in 1986 in Mexico, which would he choose.
