, which first debuted in 2000. For anyone unfamiliar with how Sims works, players already have the ability to change up their character's hair, clothes, and facial features. And now, thanks to our friends at MAC, they can try on different makeup looks, too., who was tasked with designing 12 customized makeup looks for Sims4, which is the latest version of the game.
"As an artist, my inspiration can come from pop culture, street style, fashion week, social media, international travels, nature… just about everything, and the looks for Sims4 were no different," Jennings tells"It was so exciting to create designs from scratch with focuses that spanned across natural wearable makeup, desirable trend, bold and vibrant looks, playful exotic designs, looks for the risktaker, and, of course, iconic, timeless beauty that MAC is known for.
Here's how it works. The designs created by Jennings are divided into four different categories: eyeliner, eye shadow, lips, and cheeks. And through the game's Create A Sim tool, players have the ability to mix and match to create a makeup look that feels most authentically them . In other words, if you want to pair the eye shadow or blush from the natural look with the lipstick from the bold design, you can definitely do that. The Sim4 world is your oyster — MAC is just living in it.
