Iron Man and his god powers are growing out of control as the Silver Surfer has arrived on Earth to figure out how to deal with him.
With Iron Man and his incredible new god powers now on Earth, the Silver Surfer is one of the few people in the universe that can stop him before he becomes more out of control. In a new preview for Iron Man #17, the powerful cosmic hero comes to Earth himself after learning Marvel heroes need his powers to stop Tony Stark as he becomes more corrupted by the Power Cosmic.
Marvel's greatest heroes expressed immediate concern when Tony Stark returned to Earth after gaining the Power Cosmic and gaining god powers to stop Korvac. Iron Man tried to put their mind at ease by using his powers to make everybody in New York City have the same genius intellect as him. That dangerous move has had immediate repercussions across the Marvel Universe, and Iron Man's closest ally and current partner Hellcat has reached out to Doctor Doom for help in stopping him.
Tony Stark's god powers might not have flipped the Marvel Universe upside down yet, but considering the amount of chaos he's caused in a short amount of time, there's a solid chance the hero will be corrupted by becoming the Iron God. At the very least, Silver Surfer equals Iron Man's current powers as he also wields the Power Cosmic, making him the answer to stopping the hero as he becomes more out of control.
