Tottenham's winless streak against Chelsea extends to 11 games CFC THFC CHETOT
Thiago Silva had an eventful afternoon in an attacking and defensive sense as his goal helped Chelsea to a 2-0 win at home to Tottenham.
Silva and Chelsea appeared to have fallen behind just before the break as Harry Kane slotted the ball in. The incident divided opinion with Gary Neville saying the decision was tough on Tottenham, while Roy Keane said it was the correct call. talkSPORT’s Darren Ambrose said it was ‘clever defending’ from Silva to win the free-kick.
The home side could’ve been 2-0 up inside the first four minutes with Romelu Lukaku firing a cross from the right over while Callum Hudson-Odoi’s near-post header went wide.
