Mounties are asking the public to help locate a stolen dragon statue that has “significant sentimental value” for its owner in Nanaimo.
Police say the 27-inch , 180-pound cast iron dragon statue was stolen off the front porch of a home in North Nanaimo, and was reported missing on Sept. 3.
“The owner told police the dragon holds significant sentimental value as it was the first large purchase her and her now deceased husband made as a young couple just starting off,” said RCMP in a release.
