- Sibanye-Stillwater announced today that it has concluded a five-year wage agreement at its Kroondal platinum group metals operation in South Africa.

According to Sibanye-Stillwater, Kroondal is a shallow, low-cost, mechanized underground PGM mine with two concentrators located on the Western Limb of the Bushveld Complex, 12km east of the town of Rustenburg, South Africa. CEO Neal Froneman commented, “We are pleased to have concluded this five-year inflation-linked wage agreement, which follows the agreements we reached at our Rustenburg and Marikana operations in 2022, in a constructive manner and without any disruption.
