Second time RCMP called to area in a month

For the second time in a month, Prince George RCMP are investigating a shots fired incident on Queensway Street.

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, the detachment received received multiple reports of gunshots in the 2300 block, which is in the vicinity of Quadrant Crescent. Police immediately flooded the area but were unable to locate any suspects. However, witnesses told police they saw a car leave the area at about the same time, heading south on Queensway.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have video or dash cam footage from the area at that time to contact the detachment at 250-561-3300. On Thurs., July 28, shortly before 6 a.m. for a similar type of incident in the 2200-block of Queensway, in the vicinity of Hudsons Bay Slough. Video surveillance showed a dark-coloured SUV fleeing the neighbourhood at the time, police said at the time.
