Shoppers, for example, led the list with a score of 73 this year, whereas the leader in 2013, Google, had scored a 91.
“We’re seeing a general erosion of what we ‘reputation’, and trust is a component of that,” Scholz said. “We’re seeing across the board people aren’t believing what they hear. They’re not as connected as they once were and a large part of that comes from misinformation, disinformation, our new anger with the media to a certain degree … our fatigue when it comes to communication.”
After Shoppers, other scores in the top 10 were Sony , Samsung Electronics , Canadian Tire Corp. , Interac , Google LLC , Campbell Soup Company , Microsoft Corp. , A&W Restaurants and Netflix Inc. .Article content “With some retailers and organizations staying open and their employees going to work, tended to ignore things that would normally frustrate us about those organizations,” Scholz said. “As the pandemic is ending, our studies showing that maybe we’re not as willing to put up with stuff that’s frustrating.”Article content
