A shopper has spoken of his shock after seeing two birds flying around a shop and 'pooing in the aisles.' Liam Smith, 31, from Stockport had paid a visit to the branch of B+M in Cheadle Heath on Friday evening when he saw the two birds, believed to be pigeons, flying around above him and perching close to the store's ceiling.

"Then after a bit I caught a glimpse of them flying around above me, and perching quite high up. Liam, who lives in Reddish, said he left the store without complaining to store staff. "I just wanted to get out at that point and left pretty much straight away," he said. "I have just been diagnosed with an illness and I can't afford to get an infection so I just left.""It's disappointing really. You certainly don't expect that. They sell food and other things so you expect better in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.
