This gem is a must-visit during the holidays and full of treasures throughout the year.

Now settled into their new location at 73 Brock St., the popular, beloved Soo Market continues to bring Algoma together. Visitors can expect to find a lively farmers market with dozens of local vendors, crafters, fresh produce, local meat and fish, prepared foods, handmade items, and artisanal goods. As the holiday season approaches, you’ll have more opportunities to shop local.

These will be held with the Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Association, alongside other activities like the tree-lighting ceremony, photos with Santa, live music, late-night shopping, hot chocolate, and carolers. “By enjoying our farm-fresh produce, you’re empowering hard-working local farmers, and when you pick up a beautiful, artisanal creation, you’re preserving local traditions and artistic heritage.”

The market is open every Saturday from 9am to 2pm, with additional operating hours that vary throughout the year, including Thursdays during the summer months.
