Shell shareholders on Tuesday rejected a resolution filed by a group of investors urging the energy company to set tighter climate targets.
The investor resolution received support from 18.6 per cent of shareholders in preliminary results. A separate resolution brought by Shell’s board on its climate strategy won the support of 78.2 per cent of shareholders.
