Sheetz is opening a new location in central Pa. and celebrating with giveaways including free coffee and soda.On Aug. 28, the Altoona-based chain will open a location at 1655 Rohrerstown Road in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.
To celebrate, the store will have free coffee and soda available throughout the day. Customers also will have opportunities during the day to win prizes including free Sheetz food for a year. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 10:45 a.m. As part of the festivities, Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. Customers are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to the food bank.
The 6,100-square-foot store features indoor and outdoor seating as well as a restaurant-style experience with self-serve kiosks. Other features include 12 fueling terminals and a drive-thru.
