Pres. Trump defends Rep. Tulsi Gabbard in Hillary Clinton spat: 'She's not a Russian agent.'
President Donald Trump defended Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Monday afternoon, after Hillary Clinton said in a podcast interview last week -- without naming names -- that a female 2020 candidate is a"favorite of the Russians."
Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain. From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a ...It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly."These people are sick.
"This is not some outlandish claim. This is reality," Merrill told CNN."If the Russian propaganda machine, both their state media and their bot and troll operations, is backing a candidate aligned with their interests, that is just a reality, it is not speculation." "I don't control them. I don't control what anyone else says or does. All I can do is focus on the message that I am bringing to this campaign -- the message that I am delivering to voters in this country," Gabbard told reporters in Iowa on Sunday."What I wish is that reporters like you and the media would actually focus on what I'm saying."
