As a treat to quarantined fans, Mendes uploaded a very special acoustic rendition of"If I Can't Have You." Strumming an electric guitar while singing into a professional recording mic, Mendes stripped the hit song from his 2019 self-titled down to its bare bones, turning it into a breezy rock soul jam complete with a killer falsetto vocal break.
