The company reported an outage for some of its internet, home telephone, and television services for some customers in the Thunder Bay, Atikokan, Fort Frances, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Nipigon, Marathon, Terrace Bay, Manitouwadge and White River areas.
Shaw customers in several areas of Northwestern Ontario may have noticed a disruption to their services on Thursday morning.
The company reported an outage for some of its internet, home telephone, and television services for some customers in the Thunder Bay, Atikokan, Fort Frances, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Nipigon, Marathon, Terrace Bay, Manitouwadge and White River areas. A notice on Shaw's website said the company began looking into the outage at 8:45 a.m., and that by 10 a.m. technicians were still working to resolve the situation "due to the complexity of the outage."
Shaw said the company is working to restore service as quickly as possible, but did not provide an estimated time for the situation to be resolved.
