The CEO of Meta Materials George Palikaras \u0027cordially welcomes Facebook to the metaverse\u0027

Facebook, whose new official corporate name will be Meta Platforms starting December 1, 2021, will trade under ticker symbol MVRS.

Although the CEO of Meta Materials George Palikaras was unable to comment on the matter, he explained to the National Post that the company is “developing innovations in multiple industries from aerospace to consumer electronics, medical, automotive and energy.” He added that they ‘have large OEM partnerships and so they get this kind of share action when one or more of their applications have traction in the market.
