Has there been a book that truly disappointed you? Share a picture of a book you absolutely hate—whether it was a letdown, hard to finish, or simply didn't live up to the hype! \ My name is Gabrielė, but you can call me Gab, Gabi, Gabert, or Gabe. I'm the senior community manager here at Bored Panda, passionate about helping people share their amazing work and connecting artists with a global audience. When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring the world, listening to vinyl records, and immersing myself in movies, art exhibitions, and concerts. I'm a true culture enthusiast, always eager to discover and appreciate the richness of human experiences. \ I might be the only person on Earth who dislikes The Lord of the Rings. I enjoy reading various genres, primarily non-fiction, but LOTR is just plain terrible. It's a best-selling classic, but I can't fathom the devoted fanbase. The trilogy is incredibly dull, the characters seem naive and childish, and Gandalf, that eccentric relative of Santa Claus, drives me absolutely crazy. \ The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I had to read it in high school, and I hated it. It was simply awful, and I couldn't follow the plot. Every time I picked up the book, I wanted to throw it away. Believe it or not, I don't think I ever finished it, even though it was assigned reading.
