Friday’s 5 p.m. tender deadline passed without too many surprises.

The Giants offered contracts to 10 players Friday, avoiding free agency and setting up arbitration with all of them except outfielder Mike Yastrzemski, who reportedly agreed to a one-year, $6.1 million contract.

Yastrzemski and the Giants avoided arbitration, sources told ESPN, after the 32-year-old outfielder was coming off a down season in which he slashed .214/.305/.392 with 17 home runs. Headlining the group of nine other Giants offered arbitration is staff ace Logan Webb, who enters his first year of arbitration and could be in line soon for a long-term extension. Joining him were Giants outfielder Austin Slater and reliever Tyler Rogers, as well as a number of players who the Giants have acquired over the last two seasons. Thairo Estrada, J.D. Davis and Jakob Junis are players among that group who were key contributors to last season’s team.
