SAN ANTONIO - Some significant road closures are happening this week, starting Sunday night and continuing through next Monday, September 16.Although many of those closures will be happening at night, they’re still slowing down drivers and local businesses .
Camp 1604 is just one of the local businesses affected by the nightly road closures. The road closures really slow down business according to Clemons and if it weren’t for her regular customers, she wouldn’t be bringing any money home. Driver Payton Moeller said she does notice less people at businesses in the area during the road closures.
Moeller is not alone, Debanhi Ibarra said during closures, she’ll also avoid the area, because her commute time will double and sometimes even triple.
