On Oct. 13, a 34-year-old man was struck by a car while in a crosswalk on Commercial Street in New Minas just before 7 a.m. He had minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. On Oct. 16 at about 7:40 p.m., another pedestrian was struck in Kentville while crossing Cornwallis Street.
