7 South Koreans dead and 21 others missing after tourist boat sinks in Hungary with all hands aboard
Hundreds of rescue workers try to help at the bank of Danube River at Budapest downtown, on May 29, 2019. A river boat used for tourism capsized in the Hungarian capital on May 29, 2019 with dozens of people on board, and a rescue effort was underway as 3 people died and 16 others missing.
Rescue officials said seven bodies had been recovered. Pal Gyorfi, spokesman for the National Ambulance Service, said seven people were rescued and hospitalised in stable condition following the accident Wednesday night. Employees from the South Korean Embassy in Budapest were assisting Hungarian officials in identifying those rescued and the deceased.
