A joint public memorial service for Zachary Paris and Marvin Gruber will be held Dec. 17.
Gruber worked at Northampton Community College for 22 years, the last 15 in the department of public safety.
Paris lived and volunteered in New Tripoli but worked as a professional firefighter in Frederick County, Maryland. He joined the county’s fire department as a recruit in February and had just graduated from the fire academy in September.Visitation times are as follows next Saturday: 8-11 a.m. general public and out-of-county emergency services and noon-2 p.m. Lehigh County emergency services. The memorial service is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. and will be livestreamed, with details to be announced.
Pastor Walter F. Frisch will officiate.
