Serena Williams and Meghan Markle's friendship dates back to well before Markle met Prince Harry. Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, were guests at the royal wedding in 2018, and the duchess has often been on hand to cheer Williams on at major tennis matches at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
