Senators sign 2019 fourth-round pick Viktor Lodin to a two-year entry-level contract.

have signed forward Viktor Lodin to a two-year entry-level contract.

Lodin was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft and is the seventh and final member of that year’s draft class to sign with the Senators. The soon-to-be 22-year-old had 14 goals and 40 points with Timra IK of Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan last season, helping his team earn promotion to the SHL next season.

“Viktor gained significant professional experience by playing an integral role in Timra’s championship win last season,” said Senators general manager Pierre Dorion in a statement. “A bit of a late bloomer in that he was drafted as a 19-year-old, he’s a big forward who can play either centre or wing and possesses high-end skill with a raw ability to score.”
