WASHINGTON—Senators from both parties questioned President Trump’s pick to lead U.S. intelligence agencies about his commitment to keep politics out of spy work, but no fresh opposition from Republicans emerged to his nomination.
Rep. John Ratcliffe , appearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee, is making his second run to be the intelligence czar. Mr. Trump announced Mr. Ratcliffe as his pick for the post last year, but the congressman withdrew his name amid questions about his credentials and resume.
