Ottawa Senators goaltender Matt Murray has suffered another injury after taking a knee to the head against the New York Rangers.
goalie Matt Murray's injury woes continued when he was hit in the head by Chris Kreider's knee and was forced to leave at 5:23 of the second period in a game Saturday afternoon against the visiting New York Rangers.
Murray was shaken up after getting bumped during the Rangers' second goal, when Kreider was crowding the crease and managed to tip an Antemi Panarin pass into the net to make it 2-1. The Rangers would go on to win the game, 3-2. Murray, 27, has struggled with injuries in his time with Ottawa, and was making his second appearance for the Senators this season after recovering from the flu during the pre-season.
