Newly released video from the Jan. 6 Cmte. shows Sen. Hawley running away from the Capitol attack, hours after giving a supportive fist pump to the rioters.
But last night,, we learned about yet another source of footage that could be devastating for Trump: outtakes from the speech he recorded on Jan. 7.
"Over the course of an hour of trying to tape the message, Trump resisted holding the rioters to account, trying to call them patriots, and refused to say the election was over, according to individuals familiar with the work of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack.
