The municipality of Tweed is still hoping for more money to help repair damage from the tornado that hit the town last year.
In March the 22 municipalities that suffered extensive damage received notice that although they each requested 2.7 million dollars they received 1.2 million. He added, “There are about 60 homes that have reached out to us and we’re hoping to be removing that debris within three weeks. “We’ve also had a weather station installed in that zone so we can be determine if it’s getting too hot so they can be at th4e ready just in case.
