Second season of Canada T20 cricket to start in July Globe_Sports
The first season of the league included a number of big-name players, including Steve Smith, who played his first matches since he was banned by Cricket Australia last year for his roll in a ball-tampering scandal.Among the other high-profile players who competed in the inaugural event were Australian David Warner, who was also banned in the ball-tampering scandal, and Jamaicans Chris Gayle and Andre Russell.
The list of marquee players competing in this year’s event will be announced in the coming days, organizers said in a statement.
