St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has brought a total of eight Ukrainian children with cancer to the U.S. for treatment.
Aside from medical care, the patients will all receive"housing, psychological support and counseling to help address social, emotional and cultural needs as they begin to rebuild their lives so far from home," the press release said.
The children who arrived March 28 are among the more than 730 children with cancer that St. Jude Global and its partners have helped through the SAFER Ukraine humanitarian effort.
