According to the police report, the suspect told the officers during the traffic stop that his son had been repeatedly punched and kicked by an opponent for about 30 seconds and the referees had not intervened. Late Monday night, the PNAHA announced that the individual involved has been suspended from all USA Hockey-sanctioned activity within the jurisdiction of PNAHA including games and practices.Jeff Marek, the host of The Sheet hockey podcast and a veteran hockey reporter, broadcaster, analyst and panelist, was horrified as he watched the video of the attack.

“Once you make that decision to step on the ice, that is a decision. Once you make that decision, you’re going by the bench people are telling you to stop and then you make the decision to physically touch these two children.”
