Janet Klassen, 81, from Shawnigan Lake is missing. She was last seen on Tuesday, Jan. 24, around 3 p.m. Shawnigan Lake RCMP says it’s very concerned for the health and well-being of a missing senior who failed to return home from a walk Tuesday afternoon. Janet Klassen, 81, was last seen around 3 p.m. in the area of White Eagle Drive, according to RCMP in a news release, pleading for the public to help locate her.Facebook post“Please check any outbuilding on your property and look under any tarps or shelters or decks,” the SAR team wrote in its post. “Also check any security video you may have for that timeline.”Sign up for our newsletter to get breaking news and daily digests sent to your email.Klassen stands at 5’3″ tall, weighs around 126 lbs.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Klassen is asked to call their local police detachment. Shawnigan Lake RCMP can be reached at 250-743-5514.
