✖ It's been noted quite a bit that there were some issues with this year's WWE Royal Rumble, both in fan reception and behind the scenes. One of the issues in the Men's Rumble match was the lack of surprise appearances, and the ones that were there were either expected or underwhelming. One name that could've been in the mix was Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac, who previously revealed on The Bump that he was medically cleared to return.
We do know they called several wrestlers who had been previously released with most of them turning it down . Then there was the whole Shane McMahon ordeal that led to his being let go from the company the next day.
