Quebec City is activating its crisis centre as authorities prepare for a winter storm that is expected to bring an intense, low-pressure system to the province of Quebec starting Thursday night and into the holiday weekend.
Some travellers at the bus station on Berri Street in Montreal were trying to get out of town early and hope their buses were still operating. Orléans Express cancelled several intercity buses between Quebec, Rimouski and Gaspésie on Thursday.
