“We have seen near misses between pedestrians and vehicular traffic in particular around the small playground area on Turnmill Drive,” wrote one resident. “We are vehemently opposed to development in the area that will result in increased traffic and congestion.” “And now we’re talking climate change and trees play an important role in offsetting the negative mess … of emissions,” she said in an interview on Tuesday.
