Fills a gap left by retirement
Welcome and congratulations to Narin Kishinchandani, appointed Superintendent of Business Services and Treasurer at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, effectiveKishinchandani comes to HPEDSB as an experienced superintendent, having been in a similar role at Calgary Catholic School District for the past five years. He has led a team of 60 staff in the areas of finance, risk, supply management and international students.
Prior to his work at CCSD, he spent 15 years with Enbridge Inc. in Toronto and Calgary in various vice-president roles, including performance management, and financial performance and analysis. “We are fortunate to have an experienced superintendent join HPEDSB. Narin’s knowledge, skills and abilities will complement those of the senior leadership team. We are looking forward to learning with and from him,” said Katherine MacIver, Director of Education.
HPEDSB launched a process to recruit a superintendent of Business Services in the spring following the announced retirement of Superintendent Nick Pfieffer. Kishinchandani will be responsible for business, facility and IT departments. He and his family will be relocating to Ontario.
