Industry stakeholders raised $21,000 for education at PDAC event
Mining students at Sudbury’s three postsecondary institutes will benefit from $21,000 in scholarship money, thanks to the fundraising efforts of industry stakeholders.
This year’s event, held on March 4, featured a 1980s theme, with music from the era, and a porketta bingo — a traditional Sudbury activity that involves the auctioning off of seasoned meat.
