At first glance, images and videos of cascades of water rushing down marble stairs at Union Station might make you think they've installed a new art piece, but you'd be wrong.
In fact, the videos surfacing from Union Station today are showing the true extent of flooding due to the heavy rainfall that deluged the city today.Other videos show the floor on the main concourse of the station coated in several inches of water, with commuters seeming relatively undeterred.
