Miller, who leads G League Ignite in both scoring and rebounding, will play his first game as a pro in the GTA on Monday vs. Raptors 905.

Despite a slow start in the first game, the second meeting was a bright spot as he led the team in scoring with 16 points and nine rebounds on six-of-10 shooting.

“That’s my brother. He’s a great person to be around. That’s why I’m around him a lot,” Miller said. “His mindset, mentality and approach toward the game, he’s a pro and he just attacks head on.” When Charles Hantoumakos, Miller’s old high school coach at Fort Erie, receives a call about his former star player from NBA scouts, he makes sure to remind them that he’s only played two full years of basketball in the last four years. That’s due to a wrist injury that kept him out an entire season, while he also barely played the year prior at the prep school he attended in Utah.

“If I look at a kid that’s averaging 15 and 10 in the G League and he just turned 19… that’s a pretty scary prospect.”
