Say goodbye (for now) to near-record highs
The hot weather we’ve experienced this past week will move out of our area today as a wet cold front dips in from the northwest.
We can expect scattered showers to heavy storms developing after lunch for most of SE Georgia and NE Florida. There is potential for an isolated strong storm that can produce gusty winds up to 30 mph and small hail. Highs will reach the upper 80s, with winds out of WSE from 15-20 mph. Big temperature change follows the rain on Monday afternoon as we’re barely going to make it into the 70s as the high in NE Florida, mid-70s likely for SE Georgia.
