With 20 works from a dozen countries, the festival includes six world premieres, a North American debut as well as Canadian and local openings. Aside from a cross-Canada representation, there will be performances by artists from Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Vancouver’s constantly surprising Electric Company Theatre presents the world premiere of An Undeveloped Sound, which takes Goethe’s Faust as a template for a discussion of development and destruction between four project representatives.
