System can 'assist the traffic management team in better understanding the community's concerns and taking appropriate action to address them,' city says
Local residents can now report traffic concerns regarding speeding, parking violations, and others through a new online portal offered by the City of Sault Ste. Marie.
The online form allows citizens to report details, including location, time of day, and incident specifics which can “assist the city's traffic management team in better understanding the community's concerns and taking appropriate action to address them,” says a news release from the city. "We are excited to introduce online reporting of traffic concerns," said Dan Perri, municipal service and design engineer, in the release. "The city is committed to the quality of life of our residents by ensuring their safety and well-being. The introduction of online traffic reporting is a significant step towards achieving this goal and will enhance our ability to collect valuable feedback and take steps to improve traffic safety in our community.
