He was among 64 people arrested during Project Aquatic – a number the Ontario Provincial Police called 'staggering'

A Sault Ste. Marie man pleaded guilty last week to possession of child pornography.

On Nov. 12, he was convicted of having numerous child pornography videos and images when he appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice. The offence occurred on March 11. After obtaining a search warrant, they showed up at Allen's residence on Feb. 27, the assistant Crown attorney said. The prosecutor and defence lawyer Anthony Orazietti indicated his client is currently undergoing treatment.He also is charged with possession of child pornography on March 11 for the purpose of distribution. On Feb. 28, city police reported the accused had been arrested after officers found three "life-like dolls of children which are intended for a sexual purpose.
