The Sault Conservatives are reporting the theft of hundreds of provincial election signs and believe they have enough evidence to lead to criminal charges. A party supporter witnessed a man taking several signs and captured a clear photo of his license plate. The campaign manager, Ross Romano, a former MPP and lawyer, provided a video statement to the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service with the evidence.

Romano, a lawyer and former Sault MPP, says a party supporter witnessed someone carrying signs late last night and snapped a photo of his licence plate. "She followed him and took a picture of his licence plate. The licence plate is very clear in the photo.""Looks like he had a very long, hard night at work," the woman said in a text to Scott."Based on what everything appears to be, I suspect there will be more coming from a policing perspective.
