New funding will make it easier to evaluate course credits for students applying to the school

The funding will make it easier to evaluate course credits for students applying to the school so they know sooner how many can be transferred and what courses they still need to complete.

“This initiative not only creates efficiencies internally but also ensures our students can make informed decisions about their educational pathways, which ultimately supports their academic and professional success,” said David Orazietti, the college’s president. The funding from the Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer is part of over $2.8 million going to support learner mobility projects at 35 colleges, universities, and Indigenous Institutes in Ontario.

"Empowering learners with accessible pathways to navigate their educational journey is key to helping them achieve their professional and academic goals,” said Dr. Adrienne Galway, ONCAT’s executive director. “The increased funding will promote improved transitions between institutions and programs, helping learners get where they want to go."
